How we do it
There are three components to our work:

We support people and organisations in developing the abilities to get results in complex or uncertain situations beyond our involvement. We do this by building capabilities, providing the right tools, structures and support.
1 Identify and verify the core of the challenge or the focus point and form the strategy to address this
2 Engage people who provide different angles and expertise on the challenge into the process in a meaningful way
3 Continually develop, implement and evaluate a portfolio of potential solutions and decide the best way forward
We work at multiple scales: events of a few days, processes of several months, and platforms that operate for years. A single event can spark new relationships and insights, while a long-term platform can enable new capacities and initiatives—and ultimately, systemic transformation.
Our multi-disciplinary approach helps our clients communicate a clear strategic direction, build commitment and ownership, and enable action by providing the right competencies, tools, and structures.
Training and Workshops
We offer a variety of workshops and training on working in complexity, innovation and collaboration.
During the workshop you will learn the theoretical elements and apply them to your current work, in a practical way.

Engagement Arch for systems change
The Engagement Arch is a strategy for tackling tough problems through the implementation of new ways of working and the practice of a strategic mindset.
It is not a toolbox or a script to follow, rather a set of flexible practices to shift the way you work. From acting in a way that keeps things the way they are, to acting—together—to change what is happening. The Engagement Arch is a way of developing and quickly trying out solutions while increasing the ability of the people involved to cope with a changing and uncertain environment.
The arch process runs over several months, during which we will work closely with team members inside your organisation to develop and implement changes or innovation.
Transformation is a journey, not a destination.
SYSTEMIC CHANGE, PROCESS DESIGN AND DELIVERY, ORGANISATIONAL STRATEGY
Basically, I like to help people make progress on things that matter to them. I love trying to make sense of complex things and believe that often the best way to do this is through practice.
I care about how we can bridge the gap between intangible values and concrete fact. Shifting the way we do business and work on social challenges; and believe that taking a more systemic approach and focusing on better collaboration is key.

MULTI-STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT, INNOVATION CULTURE, SYSTEMIC TRANSFORMATION
What gets me up in the morning is the desire to build relationships and enable collaborations among people that have the will to work on things that matter and they care for. Diversity is the key, not a hindrance.
I believe that experientially learning together, welcoming different perspectives and possibilities while experimenting new ways forward is the only way to truly innovate, pluralizing the transformation process. This stuff, gets my juices flowing.

METHODS & THEORY
Below are some of the theories, frameworks and methods we use in our work. We believe that these approaches, among others that we draw upon, assist in creating a collaborative and experimental frame for working.
Our work is mainly grounded in the practice of Social Labs - a framework for addressing complex challenges. Social Labs is a strategy for building a container, a platform which supports the work in a way which is systemic, experimental and socially diverse. For more information see here
Complexity theory treats organisations, communities and other social organisations as complex adaptive systems. Viewing things from this perspective means you see an organisation as a network of connected and inter-related elements, they function as part of a larger, complex system, and that as actors within a system we can best function in an emergent environment by adapting behaviour as new information emerges. Scrum project management is an agile methodology for organising the execution of tasks and projects. Working in this way means breaking down larger actions into smaller tasks and delegating and working by ‘sprint’ or ‘cycle’, a chosen period of time, at the end of which you evaluate and adapt the next steps depending on the results. The U process is a method for change management which takes the participants through a process of ‘sensing’ the system and problem, ‘presencing’ and connecting between what is and what we would like to envision, grounding our own purpose within the work, and ‘co-creating’ or collectively bringing the desired future into reality through prototyping.
